DELIVERY INFORMATION
The Seller delivers products to the Customer according to the terms stated in the product descriptions. These terms are indicative and do not apply if the Seller does not have the required products in stock and the Customer has been informed in advance. However, delivery may take place earlier if previously agreed with the Customer. Partial delivery of items within a single order is possible if agreed with the Customer.
The Customer acknowledges that, in exceptional cases, delivery may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Seller’s control. In such cases, the Seller is obliged to contact the Customer immediately and agree on new delivery terms.
In all cases, the Seller is exempt from liability for delayed delivery if products are not delivered on time due to circumstances dependent on the Customer.
Three (3) days before delivery, the Seller will contact the Customer to confirm the exact delivery time either at the Customer’s address or at the courier/logistics company chosen by the Customer. Deliveries are made during business hours (09:00–17:00), excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and official holidays.
The Seller will inform the Customer promptly of the delivery schedule.
During ordering, the Customer may choose the delivery method: using the Seller’s delivery service or collecting products from the Seller’s collection point.
Customer Responsibilities for Delivery
If the Customer chooses delivery, they must provide the exact delivery address.
The Customer must personally receive the products. If the Customer cannot receive them, they must notify the Seller in advance. If the products are delivered to the specified address or to an alternative person provided by the Customer, the Customer cannot claim against the Seller for delivery to an inappropriate recipient.
Delivery Costs and Logistics
Delivery within Attica is free and carried out by the Seller.
Delivery outside Attica is carried out by a courier/logistics company chosen by the Customer, who assumes responsibility and costs of shipping.
If the delivery address is inaccessible to the Seller’s transport vehicle (e.g., truck) or entry is restricted, the Customer must inform the Seller when placing the order. Otherwise, the Seller may deliver to the nearest accessible point or request additional fees to transport goods to the sidewalk/entrance.
Furniture Delivery:
Furniture is delivered only to locations accessible to the transport vehicle.
Within Attica, the Seller will transport furniture to the exact delivery location (e.g., into the Customer’s apartment).
If moving items upstairs is impossible due to stairs or elevators, delivery may incur an additional crane fee with the Customer’s consent.
Most furniture in Attica is delivered unassembled in boxes and assembled on-site by the Seller.
Outside Attica, furniture is delivered unassembled in boxes via the chosen courier. Assembly instructions and necessary components are provided if assembly is required.
Collection from Seller’s Pickup Points:
The Customer may collect products free of charge from the Seller’s collection points, when available:
Central warehouse: Ioannis AR Kourtis S.A., Malakonta 6, Kifissia, 14564
Kourtis Junior store: Leoforos Kifisias 175, Marousi, 15124
Products must be collected within twenty (20) days of the Seller’s notification that the order is ready. If the Customer fails to collect them, the Seller will notify them by email, and if there is no response, the Seller may terminate the order and refund any payments made.
Products can only be collected by the Customer or the person named during ordering. A valid ID (identity card, passport, or new-style driver’s license) must be presented at pickup.
During delivery, the Customer and the Seller (or authorized representative) will inspect the shipment and items, and sign the delivery receipt. Once the Customer accepts the shipment, the products are considered delivered in proper condition, free of defects, and consistent with the order.
If the Customer notices damaged packaging (crushed, wet, or otherwise externally compromised), damaged products, or incorrect assembly, they must immediately notify the Seller or delivery personnel to document discrepancies. Failure to do so releases the Seller from liability for defects, except for defects not detectable by visual inspection.
Missed or Delayed Delivery
If the Seller cannot deliver products within the scheduled timeframe and the Customer has already paid, the Seller will contact the Customer to arrange a new delivery time. If the Customer does not accept the products, the products will be returned to the Seller, the order will be canceled, and any payments made will be refunded to the Customer’s bank account.
