PRODUCT WARRANTY
The characteristics of each product sold on www.kourtis-junior.gr
are provided in the general description of each product.
The Seller is not responsible if the products on the website appear different in size, shape, or color due to the display characteristics of the Cu
Products are covered only by the statutory 24-month warranty, starting from the date of delivery, as required by EU law, unless a supplementary commercial warranty from the Seller is explicitly mentioned in the product description.
The statutory warranty covers defects that are considered to have existed at the time of delivery and become apparent within the following two years. However, the critical period is the first six months after purchase:
- Any defect appearing within six months is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery. In such cases, the Seller must repair, replace the product for free, or refund the Customer if repair or replacement is not possible.
- After six months, the Customer may still hold the Seller responsible for defects appearing within the full two-year warranty period. In this case, the Seller may request the Customer to prove that the defect existed at the time of delivery.
Warranty Conditions
- The warranty is valid only if:
The Customer followed the assembly instructions during the assembly process. - The product has been used for its intended purpose and maintained according to supervision guidelines.
Loss of Warranty Rights
The Customer loses the warranty right if:
- Maintenance and supervision rules for the products were not followed.
- The products were damaged by the Customer.
- The wear and tear of the products is not due to force majeure.
Under EU law, during the statutory two-year warranty period, defective products must be repaired or replaced without any cost to the Customer, including shipping costs. Therefore, the Seller initially covers all shipping expenses (sending the defective product from the Customer to the Seller and returning the repaired product).
However, the Seller reserves the right to verify whether the product was defective at delivery. In such cases, the Customer bears the shipping cost to return the product. If the Seller confirms the defect, the shipping cost will be reimbursed.
The Seller is not liable for product wear or damage due to improper use by the Customer. The Seller is only obligated to inform the Customer in the product description about special maintenance requirements for delicate materials (e.g., leather, which may be damaged by sweat or inappropriate cleaning products).
